Equity Bank Revamps its Online Banking Services for Better Customer Experience

Equity Bank has renamed its online banking service, which was previously known as Eazzy Net, to Equity Online as part of the bank’s effort to provide a better and consistent customer experience across all channels.

The bank stated in a statement that the new platform will deliver a unified service offering across channels, as well as a better client experience with easier customer journeys and a fresh, user-friendly interface.

In addition, the platform will provide more digital banking services, such as Mpesa float purchase and parking payment, among others.

According to the bank, the Covid-19 epidemic has pushed for the adoption of digital banking and payment systems by encouraging customers to change their habits and use more technology to help them with all parts of their lives, including their finances.

Customers’ embrace of digital services, according to Equity Group CEO and MD James Mwangi, will simplify the speed of business transformation.

In addition, the bank has updated its Mobile App as well as the USSD code *247#.

Customers who use the Equity Mobile App to transact will now be able to choose a single transaction on the mini statement to see further information, such as the beneficiary name.

Customers can now use the *247# USSD code to access the service across all Kenyan telcos and apply for mobile loans like Eazzy Loan.
